THIS ANNUAL FUNDRAISER IS HELD BY STAFF MEMBER MARK AND IS A EVENING OF FUN , LAUGHS AND GOOD TIMES AS THESE LADIES?, ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL IMPERSONATORS, MANY OF THEM THIS IS THE ONLY TIME THEY DO DRAG. NOT TO BE MISSED. SUNDAY , JUNE 7.

Hamilton Pride Festival 2009 is beginning on June 13 and we need your help! This year the festival has expanded to a three-day celebration of Hamilton’s diverse LGBTQ community and it’s allies. Volunteers are required to help our festival run smoothly.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in the community, gain volunteer experience, meet new people, and have fun!
The events are as follows:
June 12th: Youth Dance @ Westdale High School
June 13th: Kick Off Celebration @ The Staircase, 27 Dundurn Street N
June 18th: Gala-Award Ceremony and Silent Auction @ The Staircase
June 19th-20th: Pride Festivalat Bayfront Park, Hamilton
We are looking for volunteers to fill the following positions:
Beer tent volunteers:
- Cashiers
- Ticket Handlers
- Bartenders (Beer) – SMART SERVE REQUIRED
- Bartender (Liquor) – SMART SERVE REQUIRED
- Bartender (Oasis) – SMART SERVE REQUIRED
- Alcohol monitors – SMART SERVE REQUIRED
Festival volunteers:
- Site monitors
- Gate monitors
Stage volunteers:
- Setup
- Strike
Info booth volunteers:
- Cashiers
- Assistants
Cash room volunteers:
- Runners
The shifts will be:
Friday June 19th: 4 pm-8 pm and 8 pm-12 am
Saturday June 20th: 11 am-3 pm, 3 pm-7:30 pm, 7:30 pm-12 am
Sunday June 21st: 11 am-3 pm and 3 pm-7 pm
